New center scoreboard features four video displays with 1170 by 2016 high defintion resolution - the highest resolution for high-definition images
Each video display has 2,395,008 pixels composed of a red, blue and green LED package. To accomplish the high-definition images the 7,185,024 LEDS in each video display are placed only four millimeters apart.

The entire center scoreboard weighs in at over 75,000 pounds and is four times larger than the existing scoreboard. American Airlines Center is one of the few arenas built with the capabilities to hold such a massive structure.
